FMGE 2020 June Session Exam postponed to August/ September
Through a recent notice on the official website, NBE has notified that the FMGE 2020 June Session Exam has been postponed to August/ September 2020 due to COVID-19. The FMGE exam is conducted twice a year i.e., in June and December month. The exam for June session is generally held in the last week of June but due to the ongoing lockdown, the exam has been postponed and the exact dates for the examination are yet to be released. The revised schedule of FMGE 2020 exam will be provided soon on the official website of natboard.edu.in.
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is the conducting body of FMGE-Screening Test that has been introduced through the Screening Test Regulations 2002. As per the regulations, “An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a Primary Medical Qualification awarded by any medical institution Outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent Registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act.”
