Institute of Medicine (IOM) was established in 1972 under Tribhuvan University with the responsibility of training all the categories of health manpower needed in the country. Each year Institute of Medicine (IOM), affiliated to Tribhuvan University Nepal releases the Nepal MBBS entrance exam notification in the month of August and conducts Nepal MBBS entrance exam in September. This year in the view of COVID 19 the exams have been delayed and the dates will be updated soon.

IOM Nepal MBBS Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria for Indian students

Passed 10+2 Science (Biology Group) or Equivalent securing at least 50% separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% aggregate in total marks

Secured at least C+ grade separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least C grade in remaining individual subjects along with GPA 2.4

Valid Indian Passport

The application must be submitted through the official website
Click the link ”Entrance Registration” in the Examination Tab
Then click “Start Registration”
Go through the eligibility, documents required, registration instruction etc and click next
Enter the voucher no of SWIFT transfer, Valid Email Id & contact number
Next, fill all the personal information correctly
A confirmation page will be displayed which you should print for future reference

Scanned copies of each of the following original documents (scanned copies of photocopies will not be accepted):

Mark sheet of Class XI & XII of 10+2 system or A-level or equivalent examination.
Passport or citizenship (both sides) or residential certificate with a photograph or election card (Adhar card / PAN card / Driving license will not be acceptable).
Bank voucher/swift transfer receipt (as applicable)
Scanned passport size photographs & signature

Go to the link “Check your Status/Print Admit Card”
Click “Check application Status” and take the printout of the admit card
Students can print their admit card 5 days before the entrance examination date
Details of the exam centre will be mentioned in the admit card
