ABOUT INSTITUTE

Located in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute was established in 1972 under the name of the Central Asian pediatric medical Institute. On April 28, 1989 Central Asian medical pediatric Institute was renamed Tashkent pediatric medical Institute at the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The vision of this prestigious higher education institute has always been to train highly qualified doctors and pediatricians for the Central Asian republic & southern Kazakhstan. During the 46 years of its work, the Institute has prepared more than 30000 highly qualified medical practitioners with excellent career trajectories.

RECOGNITION AND ACCREDITATION

Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute is formally accredited by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Uzbekistan, recognized by the National Medical Commission of India (NMC), and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools WDOMS. EDUCATION STRUCTURE

The practical training at Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute is carried out at the University Clinic. The main clinical base of the institute started working in 1984 and has rendered Tertiary care to the children of the Republic since then. The clinic has 370 ward beds, and 24 departments, including 14 specialized medical departments. Besides this, the clinical chairs of the institute are based in the clinics of research institutes, scientific centers, scientific-practical medical centers, and leading medico-prophylactic facilities in the city of Tashkent.
