INI-CET Result 2020: Know the important details


INI-CET 2020 common entrance exam which was conducted on 20th November 2020 for admission into postgraduate courses such as MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years) and MDS the result for this common entrance test is expected to be declared on 27th November 2020.

INI-CET 2020 has been introduced as a new common entrance test to replace all the postgraduate entrance tests of AIIMS, JIPMER, NIMHANS and other institutions. AIIMS, New Delhi is the authorised entity for administering the INI-CET and it shall be the sole authority for the conduction of examination, declaration of results and seat allocation.

To Check INI-CET result 2020 candidates will have to visit the official website. The link for the PDF document will be available under the ‘Important Announcements’ section. Results can be viewed using the candidate’s roll number. All the Candidates should download the result PDF for future reference.



How to check INI CET 2021 Result


  • Go to the official website- aiimsexams.org
  • Click on the “Results” tab
  • Go to the “Academic courses” section.
  • Select the following notification “Percentile Secured by the Candidates of INI CET COURSES [MD/MS/MCh(6YRS)/DM(6YRS)/MDS] Jan-2021 Session”
  • Log in with Registration ID, Password and Code in Final Registration Zone
  • Check the result of INI CET
  • Candidates who qualify the examination can download their INI CET scorecard 2021

INI CET Result 2021: Tie-Breaking Criteria


If two or more candidates score the same marks in INI CET result, the rank of these candidates are decided on the basis of the tie-breaking criteria:

  • Candidates who have secured higher marks in the category will be given a higher preference in the result of INI CET 2021.
  • In case the tie still remains the authorities will give preference to the candidate who is older in age over the younger one.

INI CET 2021: Counselling Process


  • Seat allocation for the available postgraduate seats in INI CET shall be done through online mode only.
  • The seat allocation shall be conducted for at least Two (2) Rounds followed by an Open Round.
  • Additional Rounds of seat allocation may be done before the Open Round for which notification will be updated on the official website.
  • For 1st and 2nd Round of seat allocation, merit list of candidates equal to 8 (eight) times the number of available postgraduate seats will be released.
