ABOUT COLLEGE

Anwer Khan Modern Medical College was founded in 2008 in Dhanmondi, Dhaka as a private medical school with the purpose of serving the population through effective medical education and hospital services. Dhanmondi is a residential neighbourhood located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh popular for its central location and cultural vibrancy. In time the city has evolved into a bustling city with a range of facilities and recreations.

The Medical College is approved by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh and is affiliated to the University of Dhaka. AKMMC is also recognized by National Medical Commission of India (NMC), Nepal Medical Council & World Health Organization (WHO). The MBBS course duration at AKMMC is 5 Years with curriculum as per guidelines of Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council.
