ABOUT COLLEGE

The Ad-din Sakina Medical College (ASMC) campus was established in 2008 at Pularhat, Jessore by Ad-din Foundation. Since inception the medical college has been creating opportunities for medical students to work at the highest level of academic environment and practice preventive, curative and rehabilitative medicine in respect to the commonly encountered health problems of the Jashore district.

ACADEMIC CURRICULUM

The MBBS program at Ad-din Sakina Medical College teaches medical students for 5 academic years according to the syllabus laid down by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC). After graduating from Ad-din Sakina Medical College Indian students will be given a license to practice in India similar to the MBBS doctors from India after completion of licensing formalities with the NMC.

There is a lot of similarity in the college of Bangladesh and India in terms of syllabus, books, study pattern, and duration of the course hence Indian students are able to adjust to the study curriculum smoothly.

CLINICAL TRAINING

Ad-din Sakina Medical College introduces its students with excellent practical experience. The students graduating from the Medical College are competent in diagnosis and management of broad range health problems. The college arranges field visits for students in different institutes of public health importance where they learn the implementation of the National Health Policy/ Programs. Students are also placed in ward duties as per directives of the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council Curriculum.
