NEET UG 2020 Special exam conducted; Results to be declared soon
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully concluded the NEET UG 2020 Special exam in pen-paper mode on 14th October 2020 between 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM. The exam was conducted for candidates who were either COVID-19 positive or in the containment zones during the earlier NEET UG Exam conducted on 13th September 2020 and could not appear for the same.
This NEET-UG 2020 Special exam was conducted for around 2 lakh candidates which was a boon for the affected candidates. Now with everything working out well as scheduled, the NEET UG 2020 result is set to be declared on 16th October 2020. The MCC counselling details for all-India quota and state-wise counselling details will also be released soon as the results get declared and the counselling process will commence swiftly.
Along with the NEET 2020 UG result, NTA will also release the category-wise cut-off scores. In order to qualify the exam, aspirants are required to obtain a NEET-UG 2020 minimum qualifying percentile / NEET-UG 2020 Cutoff marks.
NEET UG 2020 RESULT DECLARATION DATE
The results will be declared on 16th October 2020 at the official portal of National Testing Agency in the form of the NEET-UG 2020 scorecard. The scorecard will have candidates’ All India Rank (quota and category), overall and sectional marks and percentile.
The counselling procedure will be started after the result declaration. All India Merit List will be prepared by NTA, containing names of qualified candidates with their corresponding NEET-UG 2020 Rank list.

SEATS AVAILABLE THROUGH NEET-UG 2020
Admissions to all seats of MBBS/BDS will be done through All India and State counselling on the basis of NEET UG 2020 result. This result will also be used to allot seats in veterinary colleges for undergraduate courses like BVSc. and Animal Husbandry under 15% of All India Quota.
The seats available under different quotas are as follows:
- All India Quota Seats
- State Government Quota Seats
- Central universities/Deemed Universities
- State/Management/NRI quota seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges OR any Private University
- Central Pool Quota Seats
