MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF LUBLIN POLAND
The Medical University of Lublin was formed in 1944 in the city of Lublin Poland as a Faculty of Medicine in the newly founded Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. In 1950 the Faculty went separate ways from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University and formed an independent Medical Academy in Lublin. In the year 2001, the English Language Division at the Medical Academy was formed which offered complete Medical education in the English language to international students coming to Lublin from all over the world.
Over the years, new areas of research and education, in fields of nursing, pharmacy and dentistry, were introduced which lead to the transformation of the Medical Academy into a university. Finally, in 2008 Medical Academy assumed the name of the Medical University of Lublin and accelerated ahead by obtaining a status among the best medical University in Poland.
The Medical Division of the Medical University of Lublin offers four-year and six-year M.D. programs in Medicine where students are provided with the opportunity of pursuing clinical clerkships in Poland or the United States as per their wish after completion of the basic sciences course in Poland itself.
