UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME

GENERAL MEDICINE (MBBS) PROGRAM

Duration- 4½ years + 1 year Internship

Eligibility criteria- The candidate should fulfil the following criteria for the admission in MBBS Program:

  • Completed 10+2 years of education or equivalent qualification with Minimum 2.4 GPA in aggregate and minimum C+ in Physics, Chemistry and Biology separately with minimum C in other subjects OR
  • Completed 10+2 years of education or Intermediate of Science (I.Sc.) or equivalent, having 50% in aggregate (Grand Total) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) as main subjects and he/she should have secured not less than 50% of marks in each subject (PCB) OR
  • Completed Bachelor of Science Degree, recognized by the University, with one of the following subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and at least one other prescribed science subject not less than an overall aggregate of 50% marks, provided that such candidate shall have passed the earlier qualifying examination (10+2 or an equivalent examination) with the subjects of Biology. Physics and Chemistry.

Selection criteria-

  • Candidate must pass the Entrance Examination conducted by Kathmandu University followed by an interview by the college.


BDS PROGRAM

Duration- 4½ years + 1-year Internship

Eligibility criteria- The candidate should fulfil the following criteria for the admission in MBBS Program:

  • Completed 10+2 years of education or equivalent qualification with Minimum 2.4 GPA in aggregate and minimum C+ in Physics, Chemistry and Biology separately with minimum C in other subjects OR
  • Completed 10+2 years of education or Intermediate of Science (I.Sc.) or equivalent, having 50% in aggregate (Grand Total) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) as main subjects and he/she should have secured not less than 50% of marks in each subject (PCB) OR
  • Completed Bachelor of Science Degree, recognized by the University, with one of the following subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and at least one other prescribed science subject of study up to the ancillary level and having scored not less than an overall aggregate of 50% marks, provided that such candidate shall have passed the earlier qualifying examination (10+2 or an equivalent examination) with the subjects of Biology. Physics and Chemistry.

Selection criteria-

  • Selection is strictly based on merit list through an entrance examination conducted by the university (KUMET) followed by an interview by the college.


B.SC. NURSING PROGRAM

Duration- 4 years

Eligibility criteria

  • Completed Intermediate of Science or 10+2 or equivalent with English, Mathematics and Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology) and should have secured an aggregate of 50% or more marks in English, Mathematics and any two of the science subjects mentioned above.
  • Physically and mentally fit.

Selection criteria-

  • Kathmandu University Entrance Examination is compulsory.
  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list and interview by the college.


BACHELOR IN NURSING (BNS) PROGRAM

Duration- 4 years

Eligibility criteria – To be eligible for selection to the B.N.S. course:

  • Candidate should have successfully completed 3 years certificate level of nursing from a recognized institution and should have secured an aggregate of 50% or more marks.
  • Should have a minimum of two years of work experience after successful completion of the certificate nursing course.
  • Physically and mentally fit.

Selection criteria-

  • A complete application form along with the photocopies.
  • Documents of Certificate level in nursing (mark sheets, character certificate and degree).
  • Nepal Nursing Council registration certificate,
  • Citizenship certificate.
  • Kathmandu University Entrance Examination is compulsory.
  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list and interview by the college

POSTGRADUATE MEDICAL PROGRAM


MD/MS PROGRAM

Eligibility criteria-1 year work experience as Medical Officer

Selection criteria-Entrance Exam Test (written + Interview) by Kathmandu University.



CTEVT AFFILIATED PROGRAM

  1. PCL NURSING PROGRAM
  2. PCL DENTAL SCIENCE
  3. PCL MEDICAL LAB TECHNOLOGY
  4. PCL RADIOGRAPHY
  5. DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY

Duration -3 Yrs

Eligibility criteria – To be eligible for selection to the PCL- Nursing, Dental Science, Medical Lab Technology, Radiography & Diploma in Pharmacy:

  • Successfully completed SLC/SEE with 45% or having minimum ‘C’ grade in English, Maths and Science with GPA 2 in SLC OR
  • ANM passed from relevant institute scoring not less than 68.33%.
  • Physically and mentally fit.
  • Passed Entrance Examination conducted by CTEVT

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR INDIAN STUDENTS AT NOBEL MEDICAL COLLEGE

  • Candidates who are interested and seek admission in MBBS/BDS programs of Kathmandu University are informed to apply with scanned copy 12th mark sheet and Citizenship/Passport.
  • Foreign candidates must appear in the Central Entrance Test KUMET conducted by Kathmandu University.
  • Candidates have to forward their application together with attested copies of their testimonials addressed to the principal of respective Medical College. All the students may contact respective colleges individually for application forms, prospectus or further details.
  • Only the Indian students who have passed NEET are eligible to apply.
  • Every candidate admitted in the course by Kathmandu University or any of the affiliated medical colleges shall register with University by remitting the prescribed fee along with the application form for registration duly filled in and forwarded to the University through the Dean of the School of Medical Science or the Principal of the affiliated college within the stipulated date.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FILLING APPLICATION FORM:
