NEET 2019 RESULT DECLARED

NEET 2019 (UG) results have been declared on the official website of the NTA. All the important details and processes that need to be fulfilled by the candidates are furnished as follows for the ease of the students. Go through all these points carefully:

 NEET 2019 RESULT DETAILS

  • The result of NEET 2019(UG) has been declared on 5th June, 2019 on the official website of NTA
  • The candidates can download the Result, Marks cum Rank Sheet/Rank Letter from the website ntaneet.nic.in
  • These documents will also be made available in DigiLocker digilocker.gov.in
  • The NTA will be preparing the official merit list as per the directives of DGHS, MCI and DCI.
  • No category wise result sheet will be prepared.
  • For all the latest updates, candidates must regularly visit the website ntaneet.nic.in,www.mohfw.gov.in & www.mcc.nic.in and the websites of concerned States/Institutions till the completion of final round of counselling.
  • The result of the NEET 2019(UG) may be utilized by other entities of Central/State Governments for admission purpose in accordance with their rules.
  • The record of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is presented up to 60 days from the date of declaration of results.

STEPS TO CHECK NEET 2019 RESULT

The steps to check NTA NEET Result 2019 are given as follows:

  1. Visit the official website of NEET at ntaneet.nic.in.
  2. Under the Online Services, click on NEET Result
  3. A new tab will get open. Enter the required credentials to get NEET Results
  4. Enter your NEET credentials – Roll No. and Date of Birth and then submit it after verifying the entered details.
  5. NEET Result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download and take printout of your NEET 2019 Score Card

 

 

SEATS AVAILABLE THROUGH NEET 2019

Admissions to all seats of MBBS/BDS will be done on the basis of NEET 2019(UG) result. The seats available through NEET 2019 under different quotas are as follows:

  • All India Quota Seats
  • State Government Quota Seats
  • Central universities/Deemed Universities
  • State/Management/NRI quota seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges OR any Private University
  • Central Pool Quota Seats

HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR NEET 2019 PERCENTILE

The Percentile of a Candidate will be calculated as follows:

  • Total Percentile=100x[Total Number of candidates appeared –Rank obtained by the candidate]/ Total Number of candidates appeared

Percentile required for qualifying NEET 2019

  • For UR category-50%
  • For Reserved category- 40%
  • For PwD category-45%

 

RE-CHECKING/RE-EVALUATION OF ANSWER SHEETS AFTER NEET 2019 RESULT DECLARATION

  • No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
  • The OMRs are machine gradable which are being evaluated through specific software impartial to all
  • The machine – gradable Answer Sheets are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinised.
  • There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets after result declaration.
  • The candidates are given an opportunity to make the representation on the OMR gradation of their OMR sheets and also given an opportunity to challenge the answer key in case of any doubt before the result declaration already.

RULES OF TIE-BREAKING FOR EQUAL NEET 2019 MERIT

In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the NEET 2019(UG), the inter-se-merit shall be determined as follows:

  • Candidate obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test, followed by
  • Candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the Test, followed by
  • Candidate with less number of attempted incorrect answers in all the subjects in the Test, followed by
  • Candidate older in age
