NTA releases schedule for NEET (UG) 2020 examination


National Testing Agency (NTA) is a premier, specialist, autonomous and self-sustained testing organization established to conduct entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the schedule of all the examinations to be conducted during December 2019 to June 2020 in different cities at All India level on Wednesday 21st August, 2019.

As per the notification released, NTA will commence the registration process for NEET (UG) 2020 from 2nd to 31st December, 2019 and the admit cards can be downloaded from 27th March,2020 onward. The exam will be conducted on 3rd May, 2020 at various centers across India. The results are expected to be declared by 4th June, 2020.

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is a competitive exam conducted by the NTA for aspirants interested in pursuing a career in medicine and seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses all over India.

The dates are tentative and may change due to exigencies, if any. For regular updates and information NTA students can check the official website of NTA- www.nta.ac.in  / www.ntaneet.nic.in regularly.

In good faith NTA has also announced to establish a countrywide network of Test Practice Centers (TPCs) across India with cooperation of 4000 Schools/ engineering colleges with computer centers to familiarize aspiring students with the Computer Based Test (CBT) pattern .

All students will have the opportunity to practice and have first-hand experience of taking “Computer Based Test (CBT)”. The practice centers will be available on every Saturday/Sunday starting from 1st September, 2019.

Efforts are in effect to bring more schools/ engineering colleges with computer centers under this facility.

This facility will be availed free of cost as a support measure, especially for candidates coming from remote and rural areas. The experienced, qualified and professional Nodal Officer and staff available at the TPC will help the candidates to familiarize themselves with the CBT mode of examinations like logging into the systems, going through the detailed instructions regarding the test, using mouse or numeric keyboard on screen (virtual) for attempting calculation based questions, scrolling down or scrolling up for the next questions, navigating between questions, review and editing their options and submitting them.
