Zaporozhye State Medical University founded to impart higher education to the Women Pedagogic Courses organized in Odessa in 1903, the Institute in 1994 was reorganized into Zaporozhye State Medical University of the IV (the top) level of accreditation, the highest level of accreditation given by the Ministry of Health and Education, Ukraine.
Zaporozhye State Medical University is of one of the leading and oldest Medical Universities for MBBS in Ukraine. It has become a reputed training center for medical and pharmaceutical specialists in Ukraine and foreign countries.

The duration of MBBS course for International students is 6 years and the medium of instruction is English.
