
The online registration process for NEET UG 2021 Exam has commenced from July 13, 2021 and will close on August 6, 2021, till 11.50 PM. The NEET-UG 2021 Exam will be conducted on 12th September 2021 in pen-and-paper mode only. All the candidates appearing for the Exam must acquaint themselves with the new exam pattern to avoid any last-minute confusion.

As per the NEET-UG 2020 Information Bulletin, the Question Paper comprised of three subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany and Zoology), which consisted of 45 MCQs each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 MCQs from Biology. Each question carried four marks and the total marks for the NEET UG 2020 was 720.

As the syllabus for Class 12th boards examinations was reduced by various school education boards due to the pandemic situation the exam regulatory board of NEET-UG has also decided to introduce changes in this year’s NEET-UG exam pattern to justify the difference in syllabus compared to last year.
In the recently released NEET UG 2021 Information Bulletin, the Question Paper will comprise of subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Each subject will have two sections A & B. Section A will have 35 questions and section B will have 15 questions. Candidates will have the choice of attempting only 10 questions out of 15 in Section B. Hence the Total number of attempted questions, Total marks, and Total time duration will remain the same as in previous years.
