NBE has also announced the tentative exam schedule for NEET PG 2021, FMGE Dec 2020 session, NEET MDS 2021 and DNB PDCET 2021 admission session. As per the notification released by NTA further information on these examinations like the information bulletin and the application forms will be published on NBE website in due course of time.

Firstly, the FMGE (Foreign Medical graduates Examination) 2020 for December Session will be conducted on 4th December 2020. Then the NEET MDS 2021 will be conducted on 16th December 2020, followed by NEET PG 2021 Exam to be held on 10th January 2021 and finally, DNB PGCET will be conducted on 28th January 2021 at various examination centres across India.

The Examination dates released are tentative and may change due to exigencies if any. For regular updates and information students can check the official website of NTA- www.nta.ac.in  / www.ntaneet.nic.in regularly.

Candidates are advised to read the Information Bulletin and instructions for online submission of application form carefully before starting online submission of the application form when it commences and ensure that no important instructions are overlooked.


NEET PG


The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts NEET-PG examination in the computer-based mode for admission to around 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS) seats, 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats and 1,979 PG Diploma seats in around 6,102 Governments, Private, Deemed and Central Universities across the country. NEET Exam is mandatory even for foreign nationals seeking admission in Postgraduate medical courses in India.

To be eligible for NEET PG Candidates must possess MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate, obtained permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 31st March of that year.

Those candidates who have India who has obtained their degrees outside India should have qualified Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) conducted by National Board of Examinations.



NEET MDS


NEET MDS Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to various PG MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948 (amended from time to time). No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MDS Courses.

To be eligible for NEET MDS the candidate must possess a BDS degree from a Dental College recognized by the Government of India and obtained provisional or permanent BDS registration and has completed one year (12 months) of compulsory rotatory internship in an approved /recognized Dental College to be eligible to appear in NEET-MDS.


FMGE


Medical Graduates of foreign universities who have study MBBS abroad and wish to practice in India as a medical practitioner has to appear for the MCI (Medical Council of India) screening test or the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination). The MCI Screening test is conducted to keep a check on basic concepts, common sense, application of concepts, and ability to check the time management.

To be eligible for FMGE Screening teat candidate must either be an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or a bonafide citizen of India, possesses a primary medical degree that is confirmed by the concerned Indian Embassy and completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 31st March of that year.



DNB PDCET


NBE conducts postgraduate and postdoctoral examinations in approved specialities leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board. The Examinations provide a common process of evaluation of the minimum level of attainment of the knowledge and competencies in the medical discipline. The qualifications are well recognized and accepted as high standard specialist qualifications for the practice of the concerned medical discipline of super or sub specialities area and can be pursued by candidates at the Post-Graduate Diploma level.

To be eligible for DNB PDCET candidate must possess Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Universities recognized as per provisions of Indian Medical Council and have passed/Passing the final examinations for Postgraduate diploma on or before 30th November of the year of applying. They can apply for the Post Diploma CET examination in the same Broad speciality as their Diploma.
