NBE has released the Result for NEET PG 2020 All India Quota seats



NEET PG 2020 was conducted on January 5 for admission to various MD/MS courses across the country. The exam was conducted of total 1200 marks. The cut off for general category candidates was 366, for the reserved categories it was 319 and for the unreserved PwD category candidates, the cut-off was 342. Around 1, 60,888 candidates appeared for this exam out of which, 89,549 have qualified in the exam.

Out of the total seats for NEET PG 50% seats are reserved for central government affiliated medical institutions, universities established by an act of Parliament and deemed universities. The rest 50% seats are offered through the state quota, which covers medical institutions established by State government, universities established by an act of State/Union Territory legislature, municipal bodies trust, society or minority institutions.

The result of NEET PG 2020 indicating the score obtained by the candidates and their Rank has been declared in January and the AIQ Merit list has been declared on 18th February 2020 for the same.

The counselling schedule for NEET PG 2020 will be updated shortly on the official website but the tentative dates are in the second week of March. Only candidates included in NEET PG rank list 2020 will be eligible to participate for MCC counselling process. The counselling will be held separately for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, and for the remaining seats under State Quota.

College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPS) of Mumbai is an examining body established in 1912. It is an autonomous body governed constitutionally by elected 24 members (faculties of different specialities). CPS is one of the oldest Post-Graduate Medical educational institutions in India empowered to confer qualifications (LCPS, MCPS, Diplomas, FCPS) by Indian Medical Degree Act 1916. The National Board of Examinations has declared the NEET PG 2020 results indicating the score obtained by the candidates and their NEET-PG 2020 Rank.

NEET-PG 2020 Rank is the overall merit position of the candidates amongst all the eligible candidates who have appeared in the examination. Individual scorecard of the candidates who have appeared in NEET-PG 2020 can be downloaded from the official website by 03.02.2020.

The merit position for All India 50% quota seats shall be declared separately. The final merit list/category wise merit list for State quota seats shall be generated by the States/UT as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/Regulations & reservation policy”.

NEET-PG 2020 ADMIT CARD RELEASED: Know all the important details


NEET-PG 2020 is a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to MD/MS/ Post Graduate Diploma courses of 2020 admission session, which will be conducted by National Board of Examinations.

As per the notification on the official website of NEET PG 2020, the National Board of Examinations will release the admit cards for the entrance test today 31st December 2019.

Candidates are required to download their admit card from the website and affix their latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. Admit card will not be sent to the candidates by Post.


HOW TO DOWNLOAD NEET-PG 2020 ADMIT CARD


Candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below to download their admit card of NEET PG 2020.

Step 1: Visit the official website – nbe.edu.in

Step 2: Click on the tab for NEET PG admit card link

Step 3: Enter your login Id and password created at the time of registration

Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button

Step 5: Download your NEET PG admit card 2020 and take a print out of the same

Specifications of the photograph:

  • Size of photograph: minimum 35×45 mm with at least 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate.
  • A caption indicating the name of the candidate and date of capturing the photograph at the bottom of the photograph.
  • Background of the Photograph should be white.
  • The photograph needs to display the full front view of the face. Please look directly into the camera with a neutral expression.
  • Please avoid photograph with reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes.
  • The photograph needs to be printed on a high-quality paper with at least 600 dpi Resolutions.
  • The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.

DOCUMENTS TO CARRY TO NEET PG 2020 TEST CENTRE


Candidates MUST bring to the test centre the following documents:

  • Printed copy of Admit card with their photo pasted on it; AND
  • Photocopy of Permanent / Provisional SMC/MCI registration,* to be retained by the test centre; AND
  • Any one of the authorized photo IDs (original, valid and non- expired): PAN card/Driving license/Voter ID/Passport/ Aadhar Card (with photograph).
  • Indian/OCI citizen who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualification outside India and do not have SMC/MCI registration should bring their original screening test pass certificate issued on NBE letterhead.
  • Foreign Nationals who are required to bring their passport (original & valid) to the test centre along with any other documents as a proof of them being a medical practitioner in their country.

NOTE: “In case, any candidate reports to the test centre with an e-Aadhar card with Aadhar number printed on it as proof of identity, the e-Aadhar card should be a good quality colour print out with clearly visible photograph. The photograph should not have kinks, scratches and stains, and should definitely match with the candidates presenting the e- Aadhar card.

PGIMER MD/MS 2020:RESULT & COUNSELLING


PGIMER PG is held in 2 sessions every year- January and July and the Duration of MD/MS Course is 3 years.

The result of PGIMER MD/MS 2020 exam was expected to be out on 6th December 2019 but an official notice has been released that it will be declared on the official website on 9th December 2019 now.

Candidates can check their PGIMER MD/MS 2020 results on the official website. As soon as the result is available, it can be checked from pgimer.edu.in. Result notification will be provided under the section titled information for candidates. There will be lists of candidates who are called for counselling, and another list for others.

Admission to all candidates will be given on the basis of their merit obtained as per marks obtained in the entrance exam, subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.


HOW TO CHECK PGIMER MD/MS 2020 RESULT

Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the link provided for PGIMER 2020 result.

Step 2: Now, the candidates need to log in by entering their user id and password.

Step 3: After entering the login credentials, click on the “Search” button

Step 4: On submitting the correct login credentials, PGIMER 2020 result shall be displayed on your screen.

Step 5: Check your result, save it and take a print out of the same for future reference.

TIE BREAKER CRITERIA FOR PGIMER MD/MS 2020

There may be a case where two or more candidates obtain similar marks in the entrance examination; in that situation, their tie is resolved by applying the following methods:

  • A candidate who has obtained higher aggregate marks in MBBS examination shall rank higher to a candidate who has obtained lower marks
  • If the tie is still not resolved, then the candidate older in age will be considered for merit.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR PGIMER MD/MS 2020 

  • The selection of the candidates for the MD/MS course is done on the basis of their merit attained in the PGIMER 2020 entrance examination.
  •  There is no clinical or practical examination for this course.
  • The selection will be concluded after the counselling of the candidates.


COUNSELLING PROCESS FOR PGIMER MD/MS 2020 

According to the prospectus, 1st counselling for MD/MS courses at PGIMER Chandigarh will be conducted on 20th December 2019, at 11 am. Then the 2nd counselling will be on 10th January 2020, at 11 am. The 3rd counselling is scheduled for 18th January 2020, at 11 am. And the spot admission through open counselling will be organized on 30th January 2020, at 11 am.

The selection of the candidate will be finalized only after the counselling. Any candidate who is not present at the time of counselling will not be considered for admission. The allotment of the seats shall be done at the time of the PGIMER 2020 counselling.

PGIMER MD/MS 2020: ADMIT CARD DOWNLOAD

  • Admit card can be downloaded from the website by logging into candidate’s accounts on the website with their respective login id and password.

HOW TO CULTIVATE SUCCESSFUL STUDY HABITS
